Good oral hygiene is important to your general health. Good oral hygiene can prevent problems such as gum disease, infection, bone loss, and heart disease, and best way to avoid problems in the future.
Regular checkups will detect any early problems such as gum disease, cavities, or oral cancer, and help you keep your natural teeth. Most children and adults should see the dentist every six months for a check up. Those at greater risk for oral disease should visit more often.
A Complete Oral Exam Includes:

A dental hygienist will clean and floss your teeth, and take x-rays of your mouth. She will give your teeth a fluoride treatment. She will report any findings to Dr. Baker.
Dr. Baker will then carefully examine your teeth, mouth, and gums. She will ask if you have any oral problems, and answer any questions you have. She will educate you on how to better maintain good oral health and recommend any needed treatment.
